truth that angers

Again I have to create a thread to get my point across since a few pussywillows breed and spawn here in certain areas of Ju. Thank the Lord it's contained. In the same way Powell and Rice told the media the US policy towards Iraq was working and that Hussein's WMD programs were 'contained' and had not been able to be a threat to anyone sue to their sanctions which they said worked.
OverTheTop Insanity
We can all have our opinions and so forth, so anything goes. But let's be real about this. Shadowman is claiming Bush has never lied to anyone about anything. Yes, it's laughable yet serious someone could be so silly and ignorant about this. To me, it's a sign of his lunacy and I think it truly reflects all that is stupid about the ones who support the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq. Who in their right minds would actually say the Bush has never ever lied about anything anytime anywhere? Only the seriously deluded. And I'm positive all the other hawk Bushlovers here wouldn't stand by such a juvenile naive comment if someone's life depended on it.
Don't Be Stupid
I have the feeling Shadowman will take the Clinton method (yes the Clinton he despises so much but if it's convenient then mimicking it is) and over-dissect the sentences that came out of Bush's mouth. "Well Reiki, what do you mean by the word lie? ". Fence hoppers are lacking in moral fibre you know.
Troop Requirements And Level Of Strength
The President’s that “our commanders tell me they have the number of troops they need to do their job,” contradicts US military commanders’ advice to both Bush and Rumsfeld that a successful occupation would require a minimum of 500, 000 troops, not the 140,000 who are currently there. If Bush is simply a retard then fine. But if he's directing a war as a self-proclaimed "war president", one would think he's heard the demands from the top military commanders over the troop levels required for the operation.
Bush: We Found Iraq's WMD!
Excerpt: "You remember when Colin Powell stood up in front of the world, and he said Iraq has got laboratories, mobile labs to build biological weapons...They're illegal. They're against the United Nations resolutions, and we've so far discovered two. And we'll find more weapons as time goes on, But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong. We found them." At the time Bush told this lie even the CIA wasn't prepared to sign off on this as being accurate. Their wording to Bush himself was it was 'possible' these trailers were used for WMD, but not once did the CIA make clear that they in fact were biological labs as Bush stated. So as Commander-In-Chief, Bush no doubt understood why the CIA wasn't factualizing that trailer claim.
Iraq's Nuclear Weapons!
"(When) asked if there were new and conclusive evidence of Hussein's nuclear weapons capabilities, Bush cited a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency saying the Iraqis were "six months away from developing a weapon."
The IAEA issued no such report, but if the IAEA did issue such a report, it wasn't issued by the IAEA.
As a sidenote let's all remember the secret off the record meeting Bush set up for the members of Congress where he told them Iraq had WMD drones which were able to reach the Eastern US coast and that Hussein was preparing to deploy them against a helpless America. This is, to me, the mother of all lies because it was this single secret session which convinced the members to go along with Bush's war plans regarding Iraq.
EPA Report
"When Bush was asked about [the Environmental Protection Agency's report] last week, he dismissively remarked: 'I read the report put out by the bureaucracy.' ...White House press secretary Ari Fleischer fessed up: President Bush didn't actually read that 268-page Environmental Protection Agency report on climate change, even if he said he did...". A lie by anyone's definition.
KennyBoy
The president said (1) that Mr. Lay "was a supporter of Governor Richards", when in fact Mr. Lay told TV's "Frontline" last year that he "did support" Mr. Bush over Ms. Richards. A lie however minute or significant.
In addition: "...in an interview with PBS’s "Frontline" taped on March 27, 2001, Lay said, “When Governor Bush, now President Bush, decided to run for the governor’s spot, [there was] a little difficult situation. I’d worked very closely with Ann Richards also, the four years she was governor. But I was very close to George W..." This is a guy whom Bush says he never hardly knew.

This is a small list of lies, some big lies, some tiny lies, but lies nonetheless. So what does Shadowman say about this? What spin will she place on this?
