I think it's fair to say the American education system needs a serious overhaul. There has to be some way to get kids interested in learning. Grade 8 kids who don't know who the mayor is? Small wonder serious issues go over most people's heads. It's almost as if they're taught not to look up. A loud wakeup call. How did you all do in your social studies?
