truth that angers
Freedom 55 For All

One thing no one in the US seems to think about, at least anywhere I frequent, is the sad reality of opportunity lost. We've all heard or seen the "how much is 250 billion?" sites, how far back to back they will go, the moon and back, height when it's stacked in the sky etc... But the thing people should consider is what has been lost due to mismanagement and blatant mocking of international laws of conduct. It's acknowledged that the cost so far is in excess of 250 billion dollars. And that's only for the present. The cost will surely go up further. Billions further. What if, instead of the cost of war and illegal occupation, the money was spend on things Americans want and need. Like health care. Or for repairing infrastructure. Or for education. It's said lots of poor kids get by on one meal a day, and that's at school. What do you think could have been done with so much money, if it were spent for the benefit of Americans? I say health care and education. What would you do with that much money?

Completely agree

Years later after the reign of Bush, we will probably discover much like we did with Vietnam that the real purpose of the war had nothing to do with saving people or that country.

Our Money could have been better spent here with less loss of life and a better world opinion of the US.

very true. Now go and say that at a podium at the next political rally you attend.

If you think $250 Billion is bad look at the interest on the National Debt. Since 1980, when the debt began to grow at a rapid rate, we have spent $6.5 Trillion dollars on interest. That money bought us NOTHING.

$250 Billion for the freedom of choice for 50 Million. I'd say money well spent...

Your ignorance and lies about the war aside, can you come up with anything more important than your own freedom?

Do you still think that Vietnam was worth while?
