truth that angers

No specie works contrary to it's own continuity. If everyone were homo then humans would literally end as a species. That's why there's no such thing as being 'born gay' or that type of nonsense. It's not natural for a reason. It goes against all basic human animal instincts. So shame on you gay people. But I want to thank them as well for contantly showing me how much better and moral I am than they are.

Unless limited homosexuality is actually good for the species. Perhaps populations above a certain size prosper even more, when some percentage are not actively participating in the procreation effort.

For example, if a species overpopulates, it may start breeding homosexuals in order to limit further growth and conserve the scarce resources needed to keep the entire species alive.

It's possible that the recent massive increase in the human population has triggered an increase in homosexuals.

What if it's the homosexuals who will save us from overpopulation, global warming, and massive food and fuel shortages, simply by being... gay?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HOLY CARP! You're funny!

A lot of talk has gone on in the past few weeks on JU about the morality of homosexuality, but this is by far the least impressive, most simplistic comment on the topic we've seen yet. So I'm going to argue against you attempting to be as simplistic as you because it is probably all that your meagre brain can handle.

Seeing as the human species has a major overpopulation problem, having humans who choose not to breed is actually something that could help the continuation of the species. If we don't stop breeding, we're going to destroy our own habitat. So gays, homos, poofters, fags, sub-humans, as you would say, are in fact much better and moral than you are.

"No specie works contrary to it's own continuity."

This is one of the silliest, most contradictory statements of all time. If, as you say, homosexuality works against our continuity, then quite clearly there is a species that works against its own continuity, and they are called humans, and that is part of human nature. What's more plenty of animals kill other animals of the same species (humans included), which, according to your Grade 3 logic, would mean that almost all animals act contrary to their own continuation. Perhaps Mr God wants us to self-destruct as part of his grand plan. He did after all create a world that is going to blow up in a few billion years.

And then there's the Cathars ( a sect of Chrsitianity) who believed that procreation was sinful. And then there's all those married hetties who choose not to have children of all things. Imagine it! If everyone were a hettie who didn't breed, then humans would literally end as a species.

I marvel at the level of your idiocy. So shame on you reiki. But thank you too for showing me how much better and intelligenter I am than you.

...according to your Grade 3 logic

That is too much of a compliment to him, Champas Socialist.

I have come to expect an article like this from you, Reiki.

Way to go CS! You said it all in a nutshell. I don't think anything this crass and childish should ever be written. I'm sorry everyone, but I don't like thoughts like this. I'm not gay in any way myself, but I have a couple friends who ARE gay and they are very understanding. They don't go around tryin to push themselves on me or anyone else. In fact, If you didn't know them personally you would never know their gay at all. Point is... It doesn't matter if homosexuality is right or wrong. It is, I don't see it going anywhere, so the only thing to do is get a life and accept reality. You can't change it. That's the way it is. If this is too harsh someone (intelligent) please let me know....

"most simplistic comment on the topic"
Simple for a reason. There's no way anyone can truthfully say homo's are beneficial to the human specie. "If there's overpopulation nature will churn out homo's to balance things better".
Right. So tell me grade 3 mentality person: how does the developing fetus know what the earth's population number is in order to know whether to turn homo? A radar? Here I'm talking about specie continuity and I get called a grade 3, and here you say babies somehow know, in the womb, whether or not they need to turn homo in order to keep the population down. Uh... That's the grade 3 mentality.

What CS fails to point out is that he's just repeating the same thing I said, only with more insults Reiki.

Why is it that it is either everyone is gay or everyone is straight? If 10% of the population don't procreate, we won't end as a species. If 100% of the population don't procreate, we will. But the latter of the options is realistic, unless we all fry all of the sperm on the planet with radiation from nuclear weapons, in which case we have a lot bigger "problems" to worry about than homosexuality.

What about Homo Sapiens? Ya know, humans, the species that built the atom bomb and kills other humans?

There are widespread examples of homosexuality in nature. Try again, little one.

" There are widespread examples of homosexuality in nature. Try again, little one"
My gosh how could anyone like this Myrrander actually close their comment with an insult yet not give any stated examples. What specie is all homosexual you silly wingnut? This is a thread about why it's not in nature's cards to have an all-homosexual specie. I don't care if you've noticed some homosexual grasshoppers doing the wild thing. Little one. I think you're on crack. And latour what about the spiderwoman who kills the male after humping it? Continuity is assured after she kills the mate because she already has his seed. In contrast, Bush can hammer on that wifebeast of his right before he has the mini-nuclear button pushed. So what?

Well thankfully that our species isnt all homosexual cause matey if you were gay I wouldnt go near you with a forty foot pole.

It's all about diversity.. not about sameness. If we were all gay then it would be a boring place.

"What CS fails to point out is that he's just repeating the same thing I said, only with more insults Reiki."

I read Reiki's blog, then I posted, then I read the forum and saw we were on the same wavelength. Congratulations on having such a thought.

"So tell me grade 3 mentality person: how does the developing fetus know what the earth's population number is in order to know whether to turn homo?"

No one ever suggested the foetus was making some sort of conscious decision. The suggestion is that humans as a species are instinctively programmed to self-regulate their population, like many other species who self-regulate when their population gets too high to survive on the available resources.

"What specie is all homosexual you silly wingnut?"

None are. No one said they were. But humans are hardly on the verge of 100% homosexuality. And Myrr is right that there are many species where homosexuality is part of the behaviour of many.

"This is a thread about why it's not in nature's cards to have an all-homosexual specie."

It's funny, but I thought this was a thread about why homos will never be right, rather than about the impending threat of 100% homosexuality. Guess I misread.

The thought of two men having sex is unpleasant to me, but they don't affect my life. Besides, the more gay men there are, the more women for the rest of us.
