truth that angers
Me it's when Homer's looking at the picture on the stairway wall, and Bart's shown holding a paper cloud/bubble/comic-style-text making Homer say "I'm stupid", and then Homer says "Hey, I don't remember saying that!". Man that's the best. Any others? How about the 'I'll donate 1 million to charity....when pigs fly." Then Homer's BBQ pig flies by, and Smithers says "should I make out that check now sir?" and Mr. Burns says "no, I'd still rather not". Or the See my vest tune.

"And to celebrate this momentous occassion we're having ribs"

"mmm sacrilicious"

"mmm forbidden donut"

"I got a D minus I got a D minus I kissed the teacher"

Bear in mind I haven't watched too many of the episodes from the last few seasons of the Simpsons.

1. Homer answer the door. His father, Abe, is dressed in a suit and tells Homer that he has a job. He gets paid $800 a week to tell a cat and mouse what to do. Homer says, "I see..." and begins imagining dropping his senile, cooky father off at the nut house.

2. Homer, trying to figure out where Flanders has taken his children - (Homer's brain) I'm a big four-eyed lamo and I wear the same stupid sweater every day and...

(then out loud) THE SPRINGFIELD RIVER!

3. When Chief Wiggum says he'll let the inmates out of prison to watch his team's hockey game. Snake says no refuses to make the promise, but Wiggum takes that as a yes.

Any Ralphie quote is hilarious.

I liked when Homer beat Mr. Burns at the union negotian table.  To celebrate, Homer did the "Curly Howard" spin on the floor going "Woo Woo Woo." (From the one where Homer is union president.)

Also I always laugh when Principal Skinner had Superintendent Cholmers over for dinner, and his kitchen caught fire. (From "21 short films from Springfield")

Finally, Homer and Bart made some sort of mess on top of the house.  Homer leaves, and Marge climbs up a ladder with vacuum in hand proclaiming, "Now is Marge's time to shine!"  (Sometimes I say that to my wife when she takes on a big mess.)  (I forget which one this is from.)

One of my favorite lines is from Ned: "Well aren't you a super duper recouper!" (following Marge's recovery from Agorophobia.)

Personally I think one of, if the the, greatest moment in Simpson history has to be right after Homer jumps out of the Good Will truck with all of his belongings. He rolls on the ground and never touches the ground, hell, it doesn't even stop being level.

lol Ralph. Anyone remember the "I bent my wookie" or the "my cat's breath smells like cat food". Same episode I think, the one where Lisa's jealous of that smarter girl, the tell-tale heart model. And Bart: "she's trying to make a monkeeee outta youuuuu"

Pretty much the whole episode where they visited my city (Winnipeg) for drugs. "We were born here. What's your excuse?" -so true

When Homer asks Hank Scorpio for some sugar, and Scorpio pulls a load out of his pockets, then asks Homer if he wants any cream. Smartly Homer refuses.
Or the sign outside the Springfield sperm bank (when Thelma/Patti wants kids) 'Your sperm in our hands
'Let Larry Flynt speak' when Stephen Hawking tries to explain intelligence.

My all time favorite Simpsons moment is in the episode where Bart and Lisa's school is the only one open during a massive snow storm and they get snowed in. In this episode all the kids get snowed in at school with only Principle Skinner as the teacher around, so the kids decide to take over and run the school. Well in an act of desperation to take the school back over, Skinner puts on his old army uniform, storms into the cafeteria where all the kids are causing crazy mayhem, and screams out "STAND DOWN!" The kids really have no idea what this means so in scared confusion they make weird up and down body movements, hoping they "stand down." Classic! Definitely one of those moments you have to see to enjoy.

What's my Favorite Simpson's Moment? Let's see, that would be when the final credits roll. Sorry...

Winnipeg latour? We went there once a year every summer. Until my Grandmother died. She used to live on Erin Street near Sargent Ave. It's cool cause she lived 2 blocks over from the street depicted in the Canadian history ?vignette?, Valour Road. I'm right next door to the west. About a 6 hour drive. A long long flat boring drive. The prairies. Where you can watch your dog run away for 3 days. I actually went to school with one of the writers.

In the same episode that Slickrick is talking about there is a classic line where skinner requests 'Now nibbles, chew through my ball sack'. You must see it to understand.

See My Vest is a definite highlight.

The 'Sugar speech', as it has become known in our house (sadly I can repeat the whole thing regardless of how drunk I am, and do, frequently and at great volume. May explain my single status!)

Marge asks Homer when he will give up guarding the sugar pile in the backyard. He replies

'Never! Never Marge. I can't live the button down life like you, I want it all. The terrifying lows, the dizzying highs and the creamy middles. Sure I might offend some of the blue noses with my cocky stride and musky odors. I may never be the darling of the so-called city fathers who stroke their beards, cluck their tongues and talk about 'What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?''

Don't know why, but it gets me everytime!

YEAH!!! When the final credits come to a close, you can always expect some funniness. I don't remember any right now, but a few were classic joke lines worthy of being a simpson moment.

When Bart tricked the entire church congregation into singing "In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida."

The Halloween episode when Lisa created a little civilization. "I've created Lutherans!"

The Halloween episode when the two aliens kidnapped Clinton and Dole. "What is this, some kind of tube?"
